I bought a new phone (iphone 7) but it was defective. I could not hear when people would call me. I went on the chat and requested another phone. I specifically asked, is this a new phone sealed? the rep online said yes, brand new sealed from the manufacturer, I guarantee you. I finally got the replacement phone and it was not new. It was a re manufactured phone. I spoke with another rep and they said indeed the rep gave me bad information and they would escalate the issue to their higher ups in regards to him. I on the other hand, have missed two interviews because now I don't have a phone and possibly lost a really good job opportunity.
I had their internet service and my bill tripled the price on what I was quoted for their services so now I owe almost a 700.00 bill which is ridiculous because they overcharge and lie
You guys already handled a dispute for me against ATT and I feel like they are retaliating against me. My bill is paid every month by an accountant and it shows that my bill was paid in April, yet my bill is showing that I owe $174.00 for this month's bill. There could be phishing involved, but ATT should be able to control that with all the things that I have provided them with. Almost 2 years, paying an average of $250-300.00 a month, I expect better from a billion dollar company.
I have been called a fraud as well as discriminated against without reason because of the color of my skin and because I walk into AT&T and try to get approved but didn’t as well as I would go in with my girlfriend who had an account and they assumed I was an active account memeber and told me my documents were not valued and meant nothing I went in with my social security card original as well as proof address my California ID bill of pay as well as debt cards mail and bank statements and they denied me several times.
I recently took a cruise vacation. Upon the ship's departure out to sea, I received a text message from AT&T asking if I'd like to add the cruise pkg (for an extra $100) to my wireless account so that I could continue to use my wireless service without incurring further fees. At no point when I added that plan/pkg did it mention there was a 200MB data usage limit, therefore I assumed it was unlimited. A few days into the cruise I then suddenly received another text from AT&T saying that I've already gone over $100 the data usage limit and that my service was endanger of being terminated.
Wireless internet has never worked; I've spent 20 hours on the phone with them to get it fixed, they escalated to sr. tech support who was to have it resolved in 2 days..it's been 5 days and now i'm cancelling and they want to bill me $179 in installment payment
When signing up for uverse service I was promised several things that were then not delivered when my service was set up. upon discovering the services were not as contracted I inquired with at&t - they stalled until after buyer's remorse period expired and now when I attempt to cancel they tell me I will have to pay termination fee
Hello, my dispute with at&t is that I was only with them for services for about 2months or shorter....during that time I was never able to access my cable ....I had called like every day ,only too be put on hold or them given me wishful thinking. However I also had a cellphone that was supposed to have been free device with unlimited data~however EVERYTHING THEY TOLD ME WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR AT&T SERVICES WAS PRACTICALLY NOT TRUE I RECEIVED MY FIRST BILL AND IT WAS $1000 GIVE OR TAKE A FEW DOLLARS
My name is ****. I was an at&t customer for many years. I also was a direct tv customer. My compliant is that i purchased two phone's from at&t a while back along with two wireless services at 40 dollars a piece plus the price of each phone which came to around 127.00 a month . I paid one of the phone's off early and canceled one of the lines which should have saved me the 40.00 a month. When it did not save the 40.00 i called at&t to ask why , they did not have a good answer but if i wanted to save money on my bill that i should bundle my direct tv with my wireless and save money that way. Big MISTAKE!
Charged me for a month of service even after I cancelled. I have the receipt proving equipment was returned and record of Comcast being the only provider in our home since then. They have used all manner of collection agencies to get my wife to pay for service we didn't have.
I signed a contract with at&t buy one get one free and have never got the discount. I have talked to a representative over 20 times and I keep being told that it's their mistake and being fixed. However over a year has passed I still have to call nonstop. Was on the phone with them for 5 hours today. Also I paid for the directv bundle witch included internet and a $200 gift card never received either one. I was told they cannot give service to my area however I have still been charged every month for over a year.
AT&T has sent me a bill for over a year in the amount of $257.37. I have a chat transcript as well as several dozen calls where I was told over and over that the account I'm being billed for, has absolutely nothing to do with me and was supposedly sent to their fraud department more than half a dozen times. I've spent over a year fighting this, fighting it when they sent it to collections, and when I tried contacting them I get the same 'That account isn't even in your name. We apologize for the inconvenience and will be sending this to our fraud department.' That's a year now.
On Thursday, 4/25/19, my Apple Iphone 7 Plus stopped making calls. On Friday 4/26/19, I went to the local Poway ATT Store who tried to fix it but only offered upgrading my phone or going to an Iphone repair center. I visited the repair center as they suggested at the ATT Store only to learn that the phone will no longer work bc the microphone aka motherboard is out. So, since this is the first issue I have had with my phone ever, we called assurant and filed a claim. I received a phone Saturday, 4/27/19. Unfortunately, I was sent a broken phone. After spending 4 hours in an ATT Store and 2 hours on the phone - I was finally told to return the phone back to assurant by Cindy who also stated they will refund me the $112 fee that was assessed once the phone was received.
In 2018 I entered an agreement with AT&T to provide fast internet to my house they were unable to provide this. my phone service through Verizon was just as fast. Our agreement was 100% satisfaction guaranteed in which I was not satisfied and I was not willing to pay then they reduce the bill saying that I had to pay for the service guy to come out. I disagree they never provided what they said they were going to provide.
I wanted to see if I can reduce my monthly bill and was in touch with a customer rep. That’s when all my headache started. I was given all false promises and never ever it was honored even though I have proof of chat transcript, written estimate from at&t store with the rep ID. This was going for a few months so I finally cancelled their service and now AT&T is telling me that I owe a huge amount for final bill though I used only two days of service in the last month. The final bill is also much more than my regular bill.
I have a multiline account with at&t. I HAD the $50 monthly plan, me being the primary owner of this plan. The other person,who had ABSOLUTELY NO AUTHORIZATION TO MAKE CHANGES, decided to go change MY prepay plan to the $65 monthly plan and they NOT ONLY ALLOWED IT they refused to fix the problem by switching it back to MY original plan. So now my plan has gone from a total of $78 a month to $108 a month.
I got a iPhone from AT&T and four days later I was charging it and woke up with a cracked screen and went to at&t and they lied to me and said I was insured and I wasnt.
In the approximate month of October of 2018, AT&T in home specialist approached me while I was working in my garage and introduced herself as Heather with AT&T. She was soliciting business and contracts on behalf of AT&T. I informed her that I was happy with my service that I already had internet with AT&T, and that I was on a fixed income and could not afford any more than what I was paying with my current services. She ensured me that she could get me or service for approximately 10 $10 a month including unlimited talk and text
AT&T cannot provide me a bill explaining my total amount due. every time I have logged into their website it says my first billing statement is not available for viewing at this time however, i have been a customer of AT&T for 2 years or more. I have since cancelled my service but the amount due is unknown, as any time i call to request an amount due they simply pass me back and forth between wireless and u-verse even though i do not have a uverse account. This can be resolved if they would simply provide me a bill explaining my charges. As of writing this i have a bill stating total charges of $204.77 but total due of $828.92 with no explanation as to why the amount is different.
They over charged me several months on insurance and sold me a tablet for 99 cents said they would charge 20 dollars a month but ended up charging way more and then when I pointed out the insurance they only credited me for a few months and they ended up canceling it without my knowing or authorization in January and then when my phone got stolen at my place of employment on May 3,2019 I called them the next morning and kept me non the phone and on hold plus transferring me to several people and ended hanging up on me.
