On Sunday the 12th my wife and I were forced to leave our home because of a domestic disturbance of a family member. We were able to stay with some friends on the short notice. The next morning we attempted to book through AirBnB's services for a 2 week stay so that we could have some time to look for a new place to live, based on reviews from friends and family and AirBnB's website advertising their reliability, customer service and fraud protection because we were very short on funds.
I was kicked out of a place I booked early because the host that was living in the space got tired of having a dog in the house. I left and just asked her to refund the remainder of my trip. She declined and said she was retaining it for all of the damage I caused.
I checked into a place with excessive mold, a broken bed, broken window blinds, which afforded no privacy and sustained personal injury in the unit. I reported this to the host. He failed to do anything. I begged AirBNB to let me move out (48 day rental) they told me they would help and I should leave because I was sick. (I have extensive documentation of everything) . They then told me to rebook another place, which I did. Fiinally, they canceled (without my consent) the old reservation and charged me for 38 unused days.
I rented a 2 Bd-2 Bth Condo in Las Vegas (4/24-29/19) for $1086.00 through Airbnb. The host owners name is Peter. First, just pulling up to Peter’s unit in the farrr back of the complex and not the same building in his advertised pictures is misleading and misrepresenting. Up the unmentioned 16 flight of stairs and no elevator for the disabled or handicapped, we entered the unit and “Immediately” found it UNSANITARY, the stench of stale water and filthy, dirty towels on the floor and a balcony chair.
Made a booking on the 27th of April for an apartment in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Host never approved - he canceled - but the money has been out of my bank account for over 2 weeks now
they are refusing to pay me for a "perfected" check in reservation. they are violating their own caveat that spells up to a one million dollar host protection for all property owners that assures them all reservations honored will be paid out to home/property owner, they are refusing to pay me for a guest who never had any intention on checking in, that also already caused me previous month damages
Made reservation based on “sleeps 8, 4 bedrooms”. In reality it is 3 bedrooms and a nursery. We canceled. The owner agreed to refund $1200 of the $1600 deposit. The owner never received any of the funds. AIbnb still refused to release the agreed upon amount.
I had a reservation for Cannes from 15 to 21 of may, one day I saw the reservation was cancelled without any notification. I ask what happened they told me the credit account had some problems and they are chargin me 900 euros. they didnt told me why, i didnt receive any message.
Cancelled Airbnb reservation within 24 hours of checking in because there was not the amenity that I specifically booked the propert for, a jacuzzi. The property was misrepresented. Airbnb is stonewalling me about the refund which I am clearly eligible for under Airbnb refund policy.
Airbnb is refusing to respect my non refundable policy and is charging me around $800 to be deducted from future payments. Also, they are refusing to reimburse me for property damages
A host left a bad review they won’t take it down he lied and acted abusively
A listing they posted on the website was a fraud it's mention there are three bathrooms which actually there was only two Dimension There are 16 beds which actually they were only 10 it mention it has a hot dog actually it wasn't any hot tub existed in the property at all and also mention there are six bedrooms which actually one of the bedrooms was the laundry room which is illegal to host people in
1) Air BnB has been fraudulently charging a card that has been removed from my account for 6+ months without my permission or consent, and continued to do so even after customer service repeatedly assured me this wouldn't happen.
I made a booking for a unit in Puerto Rico and upon arriving the place was entirely trashed. After hours the host instructed us to go to a different unit and then the next morning the host changed the locks with our personal property STILL INSIDE. We had to wait hours for them to come to let us back in and then insisted we go stay at a different property. We told them we were going to have to go through air bnb because we did not feel like the hosts were safe or trustworthy. Then, AirBnB refused to give us our money back after all that. We took pictures and everything so now we have to sue them.
Host committed theft of Guest property, then Host committed extortion by demanding additional money, other than shipping fees, to return Guest property. Airbnb never reached out to Host to demand return of Guest property, instead, Airbnb rebated 50% of replacement cost of stolen items value to Guest. Host is still listed on Airbnb.
